Short-term relief of pain and muscle spasm from strains, sprains, neck and low back pain, and other musculoskeletal injuries, usually alongside rest and gentle movement.

Paracetamol damps down pain signalling in the brain and spinal cord. Orphenadrine has an anticholinergic action that reduces the nerve traffic driving the muscle to stay contracted, so the spasm eases; breaking the spasm-pain-spasm cycle is what makes movement possible again.

Dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea and constipation. The dry mouth and drowsiness come mainly from the orphenadrine.

Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you, and avoid alcohol. It is not suitable for people with glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or difficulty passing urine, bowel obstruction, myasthenia gravis, or in older people prone to confusion. Never take another paracetamol-containing medicine alongside it: exceeding the paracetamol limit can cause serious liver damage. Use for a few days, not long term. It is a prescription medicine in Pakistan.
